Nate is a Research Assistant at Northumbria University. His role within the project is to explore what interventions can be tested and piloted to develop new models of innovation for the CDIT sector.
Nate is also part of the delivery team for the ERDF-funded Get Ready to Innovate programme providing innovation support for SMEs within the region.

Dr Suzy O’Hara is a digital art curator and researcher based at the University of Sunderland. Through her role in Creative Fuse North East, Suzy seeks to understand evolving relationships between the arts and creative digital technologies, develop new commissioning strategies between commercial and non-commercial sectors through sector and broker new collaborative contexts for the production of art and creative innovation.

Declan has been appointed to work with all five university partners. Her role is to engage the North East’s wider cultural sector in Creative Fuse, covering both rural and urban areas across the region.
She will broker links and engagement with the range of opportunities and activities being delivered through Creative Fuse North East.

Faye manages Creative Fuse North East’s events programme, including our monthly CAKE (Collaboration And Knowledge Exchange) events.
She is committed to finding dynamic speakers for CAKE from across the Creative, Digital and IT sector, and ensures that our upcoming events are disseminated widely – helping the Creative Fuse Network to grow.

Frances is responsible for external and internal communications for the project. She manages the website, newsletter, external mailings and social media accounts.
She works alongside the institutional leads from all five universities to ensure that everyone is up to speed with the latest news from Creative Fuse and that planned activities reach their intended audience.

Sam’s research interests include creative policy-making and examining the impact of devolution on cultural policy. He is also interested in how the arts can be used as part of cultural regeneration.
Sam joined the Creative Fuse team after working with Creative Cardiff on their mapping project resulting in the report Cardiff Creative Capital : Mapping Cardiff’s Creative Economy.

Sophie provides behind the scenes administrative support for Sunderland University in the delivery of the ERDF elements of Creative Fuse.
This includes liaising with financial processing teams to ensure that all transactions are recorded, obtaining, evaluating and reporting on information to satisfy ERDF requirements and arranging events and workshops as part of funded activities.
