Fully-funded, energetic and creative workshop programme that uses design thinking to help you harness your ideas.

Event Summary

The Get Ready to Innovate programme is provided by Northumbria University as part of Creative Fuse North East. We offer you 12 hours free-of-charge expertise in design-led innovation, which is about harnessing the power of creative thinking to more deeply explore challenges and reveal exciting new opportunities for you and the business you work on.

Through a programme of 4 creative and energising online sessions, each lasting 3 hours, we will work with you to:

• Build a comprehensive picture of your business, your values and passions, vision and ideas for development.
• Explore and clarify a range of opportunities that complement your own expertise and develop a vision for your ideas.
• Understand your innovation readiness – what success will look and feel like, and collaboratively creating an outline of how to get there.
• Reflect on the journey through the sessions, evaluate the outcomes of the programme, and generate useful feedback.

The programme is designed to be creatively stimulating, confidence inspiring and accessible to a very broad range of businesses

You could be eligible to take part if you have a small to medium sized business, are a registered sole trader, registered freelancer, creative practitioner, Social Enterprise or Community Interest Company within the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) area: Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Northumberland, and Sunderland.
